    But it wasn't until i encountered a bigger problem with a sewing machine worth $300 that was riddled with faults. I was completely oblivious to the issues as i had very rarely used it and when i did only for light tasks. When a more complex project arose, so did all the problems that at first had me questioning my own skills but it wasn't until a deep search on the machine's use online did i discover many other buyers having the exact same issues. The project was for an important yearly event that i missed out on thanks to the delays. Before heading to Target, I called consumer affair for advice and told was well within my rights to request a reimbursement based on the machine not performing as it's expected to.

    I told them they can keep their $20, but they've lost me for good and I will no longer be spending my money where it's not appreciated.

    The complaint went to head office where the impudence continued and they offered a reimbursement of $20 (according to their current item value).

    You wait to long at the customer service just to get something from there is a nightmare. It has to improve fix your problems get more staff don't make the customers wait to long to get served. But beside that everything is great the prices are cheap and even the workers are great just it looks like they are always understaff............

    Not surprisingly the staff at Target Bankstown did everything in their power to knock me back and came up with every and any excuse to deny me my rights. During a quiet time of the day, what began as a request to take a look at the faults of the item, turned into a confrontation from the staff. Without any attempt to assess the machine, I was accused of purchasing it elsewhere (even with clear Target labeling on the box) proving it came from this store. Staff who were not asked for advice then took it upon themselves to become involved in the argument without any background knowledge, i was treated in the most appalling manner, grouped on by a bunch of big-headed lazy fools who spend their time snobbing customers and destroying the company's reputation and the moment a customer request arises muster all their energy against them.

    Target is a great place to shop at cause there's like everything there

    I was a LONG TIME customer and up until a year ago had shopped here regularly for 15 years +. I've seen management and staff change but the real problem here lies with the longer serving staff members who have snotty attitudes towards customers. They play around with the store policies where it suits them, refuse you your rights, remove your items from hold without a second breath even while you still have time, they take down your number but don't give you the courtesy, refused an online return because i hadn't printed the invoice and ordered to get it printed first (even though i had an electronic copy).

    No air con, had to cut my shopping short due to not being able to stay in the store because it was too hot
